Built with AI collects only the information needed to understand whether the catalog works and to receive feedback you choose to send.
What is collected
When you browse the site, the hosting and analytics systems may process standard request information such as approximate location, device and browser type, referring page, and pages viewed.
When you open a project, Built with AI records the project, where the link appeared, and the catalog release associated with that click. It does not record the contents of your activity inside the project you visit.
If you send feedback, the site stores your message, the related project, the page address, submission time, and an email address only when you choose to provide one.
To limit feedback spam, the site temporarily stores a one-way fingerprint made from the submitting IP address or, when that is unavailable, a browser identifier. The raw value is not stored in the feedback inbox. Rate-limit records older than two days are deleted during later feedback requests.
Projects you save are kept in your browser's local storage. That saved list is not sent to Built with AI.
How it is used
- Keep the public catalog reliable and understand which projects people explore.
- Investigate broken links, display problems, and other reports.
- Reply to feedback when you provide an email address and a response is useful.
- Protect the site and its submission forms from abuse.
Built with AI does not sell feedback or browsing information and does not use it to build advertising profiles.
Service providers
The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, including hosting, analytics, request protection, and data storage. Information may be processed in the locations where those services operate.
Your choices
Providing an email address with feedback is optional. You can remove saved projects by unsaving them or clearing this site's local storage. You can also use browser privacy controls or content blockers to limit analytics requests, although some security features may still process standard request information.
Retention
Feedback is kept while it is being reviewed and for as long as it remains useful for resolving or preventing the reported issue. Aggregate analytics and security records follow the retention settings of the services that process them.
